Scope and Application
This return policy applies to all purchases made on www.Cozyhavn.com. It complies with USA and European consumer protection laws.

Important: Our business address in USA is not a return point. All returns must be authorized and registered with us in advance. Once approved, you will receive a return label and the correct return address.

Returns sent to an address not previously approved may be refused.

1. How to Make a Return
To make a return, please email us at hello@cozyhavn.com with:

Your order number
The reason for return
Clear photos (if the item is damaged or incorrect)

All returns must be reported within 30 calendar days of receipt of the item. Any return without prior notice or approval may be refused.

2. Returns Accepted
We accept returns under the following conditions:

a) Change of mind (within 30 days)
You can return your product if:

It is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging
All components are intact
It is not a personalized or custom-made item
You are responsible for:

Return shipping costs
Initial shipping costs (even if free shipping was applied at checkout) if you notify us after 14 days of receipt
Use a trackable shipping method
Secure packaging and proof of postage
We recommend insured shipping for fragile items such as lamps. We cannot refund lost or damaged packages without insurance.

b) Defective or Damaged Item

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

You must notify us within 3 calendar days of delivery.
Attach clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. If the problem is confirmed, we will offer you:

A free replacement or
A full refund, including return shipping.

c) Incorrect item received

If you received the wrong item, we will cover all shipping costs and resend you the correct product free of charge.

d) Undelivered item

If your order has not arrived after 15 business days, please contact us. We will investigate with the carrier. If the loss is confirmed, we will issue a replacement or a full refund.

e) Exchanges

We allow exchanges for different styles or sizes if:

The item is unused and in its original condition.
You are responsible for the return and shipping costs of the replacement item.

3. Non-refundable items
We do not accept returns:

Customized or made-to-order products (e.g., lamps with custom cable lengths or altered formats)
Items showing signs of use, installation, or damage
Hygiene products, unless sealed and unused

4. Disclaimer regarding colors and dimensions
Due to differences in lighting, photography, and screen settings, product colors may vary slightly. This does not constitute a defect.

Size differences of up to 4 cm are acceptable due to manufacturing tolerances and manual measurement methods. These differences do not constitute a valid reason for return.

5. Return Fees and Deductions
If returning an item due to a change of mind after 14 days, the customer is responsible for:

Return fees
Initial delivery fees, even if "free" at checkout (depending on the location and size of the product)
Customs duties, VAT, or import fees resulting from a return from USA to our EU Returns Center
We also reserve the right to:

Deduct up to €15 per item in restocking and handling fees if the item requires inspection, repackaging, or repair
Issue a partial refund (usually 20-50%) if the item is returned damaged, incomplete, or clearly used

6. Store Credit Option (+15% Bonus)
Instead of a refund, you can opt for a store credit worth 15% more than your refund amount. Benefits:

Faster processing (2 to 3 business days)
No deduction from initial delivery charges
Bonus for your next purchase
This option is subject to eligibility and at Cosylamp's discretion.

7. Order Cancellation
You can cancel your order free of charge before it is shipped. If your order has already been shipped, you must follow the returns procedure upon delivery.

8. Refund Processing
Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned item.
You will receive a confirmation email once your request has been processed.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

9. Your Legal Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.
